În 2012, în Sfântu Gheorghe a avut loc o tragedie. Nouă oameni au murit într-un accident de muncă. Remorca în care se aflau a fost spulberată de un tren când se întorceau de la cules de cartofi. Erau zilieri. Erau persoane de etnie romă. Incidentul, deși extrem de grav, a avut puține ecouri în mass-media. Au trecut aproape 6 ani de atunci.

Regizorul Radu Afrim, împreună cu echipa Teatrului „Andrei Mureșanu”, readuc evenimentul în atenția opiniei publice – mai mult absente la momentul tragediei, oferindu-i șansa de a fi alături de familiile victimelor după ani buni de la producerea acesteia. Spectacolul-documentar vorbește despre viitor la trecut: ce au făcut familiile victimelor în toți acești ani, unde sunt acum, ce își mai aduc aminte despre eveniment, cum a continuat viața lor și cum este ea astăzi... sunt doar câteva din multiplele întrebări explorate.

In 2012, a tragedy took place in Sfantu Gheorghe. Nine people died in an accident at work. The trailer they were in was trashed by a train when they came back from the potato picking. They were daily workers. They were Roma people. The incident, though extremely serious, had little echo in the media. Local authorities did their duty by helping the families of the deceased to lead their relatives on the final road. It's been almost six years since then.

Stage director Radu Afrim, together with “Andrei Mureşanu” Theatre team, brings the event to public attention – the public was pretty absent at the time of the tragedy, giving them now the chance to be with the families of the victims many years after it happened. The new documentary show speaks in the future about the past: what the families of the victims have done all these years, where they are now, what they remember about the event, how they went on with their lives and how it is today... those are just a few of the many questions explored.
