Trei povești intersectate într-un spectacol ce pune sub lupă probleme de interes social: homosexualitatea, adopția, abuzul fizic și psihic, lipsa de comunicare. Three stories cross in this performance that puts topics like homosexuality, adoption, abuse and lack of communication under the magnifying glass.

La finalul lunii noiembrie 2015, în Monitorul Oficial, a fost publicat proiectul de lege prin care se propune modificarea actualului art. 48, alin. 1, prin redefinirea familiei ca fiind o uniune care "se întemeiază pe căsătoria liber consimțită între un bărbat și o femeie". Intrigat de acest proiect de lege, Eugen Jebeleanu chestionează în spectacolul său conceptul de familie.
Piesa dezvoltă trei povești care se intersectează și astfel își modifică parcursul. Familii e un spectacol care pune sub lupă probleme actuale de interes social general, precum homosexualitatea, adopția, abuzul fizic și psihic, lipsa de comunicare etc. Familii este testimonialul celei mai strânse legături între oameni. Și totuși, ce reprezintă o familie în ziua de azi?

At the end of November 2015 in the Official Gazette was published draft law that proposes to amend the current art. 48, para. 1 of the supreme law of the state with the following wording: "The family is founded on free marriage between a man and a woman”.
To achieve this performance, Eugen Jebeleanu, director and author of the project, will write a play consist of twenty successive scenes, scenes that will play a large painting on this micro-society: the family. The play will be at the center of dramatic stories of three distinct families, each facing a number of problems: the loss of a family member, blackmail, violence in family, love. The characters are placed in front of the feeling of abandonment, running away from responsibility, need confirmation, rigid identification with their parents or on the contrary, its refusal, pathos meetings of family, parenthood acquisition, induction and resentment of culpability.
Families is the testimonial of the most sacred and tight bonds between people. Which begs the question: what is the meaning of family today?
